What is Eyelash Enhancement?

AFTER-CARE INSTRUCTIONS

After Your Appointment:

  1. Keep the Area Clean: Gently cleanse the treated eyeliner area with a mild, fragrance-free cleanser or a designated aftercare solution. Use a clean cotton pad or soft cloth to gently remove any debris or excess pigment. Cleanse the area twice a day, morning and night, following the technician's instructions.
  2. Avoid Water Exposure: Avoid getting the treated eyeliner area wet for the first 5-7 days after the procedure. This includes avoiding direct water contact, such as swimming, hot tubs, saunas, and steam rooms. Water exposure can cause the pigment to fade and disrupt the healing process.
  3. Apply Aftercare Ointment: Apply a thin layer of the product to the treated area using clean hands or a cotton swab. This will help keep the area moisturized and promote healing.
  4. Avoid Touching or Rubbing: Refrain from touching, rubbing, or picking at the treated eyeliner area. It is crucial to let the scabs or flakes naturally shed off during the healing process. Touching the area can introduce bacteria and potentially disrupt the healing or result in pigment loss.
  5. Avoid Makeup on the Treated Area: Once the area is fully healed, you can resume wearing makeup as usual, ensuring cleanliness and avoiding harsh products.
  6. Protect from Sun Exposure: Protect the treated eyeliner area from direct sunlight and excessive UV exposure during the healing process. Sun exposure can cause the pigment to fade or change color. If you need to be in the sun, wear a wide-brimmed hat or use sunscreen specifically formulated for tattooed skin.
  7. Avoid Excessive Sweating and Exercise: Sweating can affect the healing process and may cause the pigment to fade prematurely. It is recommended to avoid intense workouts, saunas, and hot yoga for at least two weeks.
  8. Avoid Facial Treatments and Chemical Peels: Refrain from undergoing facial treatments, chemical peels, or laser treatments on or near the treated eyeliner area until the healing process is complete.
  9. Follow Up with a Touch-Up Appointment: Permanent eyeliner often requires a touch-up appointment after a few weeks to ensure the best results. Attend this follow-up appointment as scheduled to refine the shape, adjust the color, and address any areas that may need additional pigment.
  10. Consult Your Technician for Any Concerns: If you have any questions, concerns, or experience any unusual symptoms during the healing process, contact your technician promptly. They will provide guidance and address any issues that may arise.
